The Salomon XA FORCES GTX is an extremely lightweight shoe, ideal for extreme and critical conditions. Featuring Salomon XA Pro 3D technology, it offers exceptional durability thanks to the materials used.
The upper of this 2020 model is made from the same mesh as the Salomon Forces Quest 4D. It's a more robust ballistic nylon, now with double or triple stitching. Material overlap has been reduced in most areas, which will undoubtedly improve the shoe's lifespan.
The outsole has also been improved. Salomon has added a few centimeters of rubber protection to improve grip and stability. This protection extends to the toe of the shoe. The toe has also been slightly widened to ensure optimal comfort for wide feet (which was sometimes a problem with the previous model).
The interior of the shoe and the outsole have been completely redesigned at the request of many users. The shoe now features full protection for rope climbing and rappelling, among other things.
