    Product description

    The Care Plus® water filter is a versatile water filtration system. Microfibre tubes (0.1 micron absolute) filter up to 3,500 litres and capture harmful bacteria and protozoa. It filters up to 1.8 litres per minute from any freshwater lake, river or stream. The filter can be attached to the included compressible TPU pouch, standard disposable water bottles or hydration packs. You can also use it as a straw to drink directly from your water source. The filter element can be removed from the housing for easy cleaning. The ultra-lightweight water filter weighs only 62 grams. How it works: Based on technology used in medical dialysis, the 0.1-micron absolute filter uses a set of microfibre tubes. Water is sucked through the side walls of the tubes into their hollow centre and comes out through the ends of the tubes. Harmful bacteria and protozoa are trapped on the outer walls of the tubes. Contents: A 0.1-micron absolute hollow fibre membrane filter, a reusable 1000 ml TPU pouch, a cap for the filter end and instructions.
