Modular Reconnaissance Kangaroo Pouch (Ranger Green)

The Modular Reconnaissance Kangaroo Pouch is the latest expression of minimal and fully configurable micro rig for combat.

The concept of modularity and customization, given by the possibility of changing the position and caliber of the magazines carried, has survived over the years: from the first version of our kangaroo pouch released in 2014, then renewed in the laser-cut version in 2016, we reached today the most complete kangaroo pouch on the market, optimized in all its features.

The inner Velcro® hook & loop allows the user to apply different types of inserts to better fit the mission profile, such as the SMG Mag Velcro Insert, the 5.56 Mag Velcro Insert or the 7.62 Mag Velcro Insert.

The front part of the pouch hides a skeletonized rigid plate made of thick plastic technopolymer which serves to stabilize the HAHO navigation board when mounted on the front MOLLE PALS system.

Both sides and the bottom part feature our patented Multi-Dot MOLLE PALS system that allows various objects such as Cyalume lightsticks, tourniquet, etc. to be fixed using a 1/8" shock cord, as well as pouches via traditional MOLLE PALS system.

The MRKP can be used both as a standalone chest rig in conjunction with the Light Reconnaissance Harness and the Chest Pad Air or as a placard mounted directly on the Defender Low Visibility Plate Carrier or other plate carriers.

This high degree of modularity allows the user to comfortably and effectively do his job during various parts of the mission. When patrolling for many kilometers towards the objective, the operator is able to keep his plate carrier and his direct-action equipment in his rucksack while still carry the mission essentials at the ready. Once he is closing in on the objective and it is appropriate to wear ballistic protections the modularity of the MRKP allows the user to quickly change from chest rig to plate carrier configuration. This capability is key for keeping all of those down times to a minimum and it eliminates the risk of error since it is not necessary to move any piece of equipment from one platform to the other.

The Modular Reconnaissance Kangaroo Pouch comes in four different configurations:

• without inserts (they can be bought separately);

• +5 SMG Mag Velcro Insert;

• +3 5.56 Mag Velcro Insert;

• +3 7.62 Mag Velcro Insert.

The true modularity of the MRKP comes from the suite of product and accessories (some already available and other coming soon) that allow the user to even further configure his platform. The Ultra-Mate® hook backing not only allows to attach this chest rig to another platform but it also provides the ability to attach other pouches on both sides as well as at the bottom. To achieve this high degree of modularity the shape and sides of the MRKP are slick and streamlined, therefore the most effective and efficient attachment are the G-Hooks.
