    Product description

    The Modular Reconnaissance Kangaroo Pouch (MRKP) is the latest evolution for minimal chest rig and fully configurable for combat. The internal Velcro® allows the user to apply different types of inserts to better suit the mission profile, such as the SMG Mag Velcro insert, the 5.56 Mag Velcro insert or the 7.62 Mag Velcro insert. This modular and customisable concept allows the position and calibre of the magazines carried to be changed. The front of the pouch conceals a thick technopolymer rigid plate that serves to stabilise the navigation map when mounted on the front MOLLE PALS system. The sides and bottom are equipped with the patented MOLLE PALS Multi-Dot system. This allows various items such as Cyalume light sticks, tourniquets, etc. to be attached using a 1/8" shock cord, as well as pockets via the traditional MOLLE PALS system.
    The MRKP can be used both as a stand-alone chest harness in conjunction with the Lightweight Recon Harness and the Chest Pad Air. Or as a plate mounted directly on the Defender Low Visibility Plate Carrier or other plate carriers
    This modularity allows the user to work comfortably and efficiently during different parts of the mission. When patrolling several kilometres towards the objective, the operator can keep his plate carrier and action equipment directly in his backpack while having the mission essentials at hand. Once close to the target and it is appropriate to wear ballistic protection, the MRKP's modularity allows the user to quickly switch between faceplate and plate carrier configurations. This capability is essential to minimise downtime and eliminate the risk of error as there is no need to move a piece of equipment from one platform to another.
