Comes with 2 grip backstraps as on Generation 4 pistols, a case matching the colour of the weapon with 1 magazine, 1 17-round magazine + 2 17-round magazines and 1 cleaning kit.
Special version derived from the model developed for the MHS programme. This model features a Glock 19 slide and barrel and a Glock 17 frame. The colour of the slide is achieved by an nPVD coating (vapor deposition on nitriding), which gives it high resistance to wear and corrosion.
We have placed the G19X in the Gen5 category even though it is a separate model because it has many features in common with this generation, unlike previous generations: the same new Marksman barrel, the same trigger system, no fingerprints on the frame, the same finish technology, the same slide profile, ambidextrous slide stop, etc.
The 5th generation of Glock pistols, derived from the model adopted by the FBI, features the following improvements:
- A new match-quality barrel potentially capable of twice the accuracy of previous models.
- A new finish on the slide and barrel consisting of nDLC (nitriding + amorphous diamond-like carbon) protection, with the exception of the G19X, whose slide is protected by an nPVD coating.
- A flared magazine well integrated into the frame to facilitate magazine changes (except G26 and G19X).
- An ambidextrous slide stop.
- A slide profile similar to that of the Glock 26.
- The grip no longer has finger indentations, making it suitable for the hands of a wider range of shooters, regardless of finger size.
- The firing pin safety, trigger and trigger block with ejector have been modified to soften the trigger pull.
- The new magazine features an orange elevator and a slightly oversized magazine base (the pistol remains compatible with all older Glock magazines), except for the Glock 19X, which comes with three magazines matching the colour of the frame.
The above list is not exhaustive, as more than 20 modifications have been made to this weapon.
