Compact, functional and quick to use – the TERRA B Medium IFAK is designed for initial trauma care in emergency situations. Your important assistant, who supports you reliably by his layout in connection with a choice of high-quality materials.
DESIGN OF OUR MEDIUM IFAK
IFAK-SLEEVE:
The sleeve is made of robust CORDURA® 500 den laminate combined with a bi-elastic material. This makes it highly abrasion resistant, water and dirt repellent, but also adapts to the contents and compresses the whole system so that nothing slips. PALS loops on the back allow the IFAK to be securely attached to any standardized MOLLE system. Alternatively, a 5 cm slot on the back allows it to be attached to a belt. This ensures a snug fit and allows for access. Behind the front Velcro flap, you can slide the included reflective tape, giving you the choice of discreet or more eye-catching carry.
IFAK-INLAY:
The removable inlay is designed to organize your IFAK medical first aid essentials. It’s made of rugged CORDURA® 500 den laminate for a sleek, weight-reducing design. Two Black Curv® panels with laser cut holes and slots provide the platform for various modular attachments of your medical supplies. The interior pouch is closed by a Velcro closure system. A striking red flap provides quick orientation for easy opening of the IFAK. Two external pull tabs allow access during a medical emergency. You can also carry our IFAK inlay as a stand-alone pouch in a larger leg bag.
Included in delivery: 1 m Shock Cord, 85 cm VELCRO® ONE-WRAP®, 1x cord stopper, 1x white reflective tape (4cm x 4cm), 1x red reflective tape (4cm x 4cm)
AVAILABLE WITHOUT TRAUMA KIT:
Set up your own utensils for your medium IFAK – we give you the sturdy cover combined with a practical inlay for many possibilities of organization. Use the utensils included in the delivery. Decide in advance with which utensils you want to fill your Medium IFAK and arrange them roughly on the Black Curv® plates.
The self-adhesive VELCRO® ONE-WRAP® is ideal for attaching narrow accessories (e.g. tube, pen) or flat packs (e.g. gauze or chest seal). Cut the VELCRO® ONE-WRAP® to size and thread it into the long slots of the Black Curv®. The included Shock Cord can be threaded through the lasered holes, fastened with internal knots and thus easily secure first aid packs. You also have the option of attaching a tourniquet, for example, to the upper side of the IFAK case (see product photo). Cut 47 cm of shock cord, tie a knot with both ends and place the cord stopper directly at the knot. If you now pass the shock cord through the outer slots of the MOLLE system, you can place the tourniquet and adjust it with the cord stopper.
