The SureFire Sidekick is a compact, rechargeable, powerful keychain flashlight. Made for everyone and to always carry with you: in your jacket pocket or on your bag. Although compact in size, the Sidekick is relatively large for a keychain flashlight. However, the lamp gets away with this because the housing is made of polymer and it is therefore not too heavy (34 grams). With the three light modes (High, Medium and Low) and the MaxVision Beam (wide beam), an ideal light to always have with you: in your jacket pocket or on your bag.

Switching between the modes is easy with the push button. The lamp starts at the lowest setting. If you then press again within 2 seconds, you will go to the next light mode. If you wait longer than 2 seconds and then press the button, the lamp switches off. The default mode order is L-M-H, but this can be changed to H-M-L.

The Sidekick works on a built-in 640mAh Li-ion battery. The Sidekick has no indicator lights when the battery is low. Instead, the Sidekick uses the LED. When the battery is almost empty, the light intensity simply decreases to a lower level. The lamp does not suddenly switch off, but first gives a signal that the battery is almost empty.

Charging is quick and easy via the micro USB port and the included micro USB cable. The LED flashes when the Sidekick is being charged. Once fully charged, the LED will illuminate continuously at the lowest level as long as power is connected. You will also receive the lamp with a small carabiner.
