    Product description

    The Chiron mini IFAK has been designed in response to demand from operators for a quick-release mini IFAK that is easily accessible when worn in the lumbar area of the combat belt. The result is a design structured to allow quick and easy access to medical equipment in an emergency: simply grasp the ITW Nexus® D-ring and pull out the insert, which unfolds to reveal its contents. The extractable insert, made entirely from LAHYCO, features two exclusive MPO (Multi Purpose Organizers) panels, which not only offer significant weight reduction, but also infinite customization possibilities, breaking the static concept of traditional medical bags. Content, placement and retention method are completely customisable to best suit the needs of the operator. As an example, here is a list of medical items that can be placed in the pouch: HyFin® Vent Chest Seal Twin Pack, ARS® Needle Decompression Kit, Nasopharyngeal Airway 28F with Lubricant, Trauma Shears, Compressed Gauze, Mini Compression Bandage, WoundClot™, Nitrile gloves.
    FEATURES
    Both the vertical and horizontal multi-purpose organisers feature an Ultra-Mate® Velcro® hook holder which allows the user to interchange them or attach them to another platform fitted with a Velcro® loop attachment.
    The thick technopolymer plastic back, combined with the MIL-W-5664 or Woven elastic band, provides compression to suit the contents, reducing the size of the pouch to a minimum.
    Laser-cut medical identification allows the user to choose the colour to suit the circumstances by changing the insert from Hi-Vis to IR or Reflective.
    The front Velcro® fastening allows you to apply a blood group patch, allergy alert patch or any other useful sign.

    * Because FROG.PRO wanted to minimise the size of the pouch and most operators wear the tourniquet on the front of the belt, it does not have a specific retention system for it. If required, the Chiron Mini IFAK can be fitted with the optional CAT elastic velcro tourniquet holder.
