    Product description

    Fluorescent yellow child's tourniquet with M2 ratchet to stop bleeding from the extremities. Simple, intuitive and effective, it is designed for pediatric application and intended for use on individuals weighing less than 120 lbs (55kg) with small limbs of 2.5" (6.3cm) in circumference.

    * RMT (Ratcheting Medical Tourniquets) are part of the newest generation of high compression devices for the control of venous and arterial bleeding. Based on years of experience in the field, the RMT series contains many improvements over current and older generation tourniquets such as C.A.T. or SOT-T. In particular, they allow an application up to 6x faster and do not require any particular strength (minimum age 8 years for use). Moreover, they meet the latest recommendations of the TECC of January 2017, which require the RMT tourniquet to be tightened by one click in 10 minutes. They have a sturdy construction which makes them almost indestructible and allows them to be reused many times during training without wear and tear. The tourniquets have been enlarged to ensure greater comfort for the injured during long evacuations. They are equipped with a "biting strap" to prevent the tourniquet from slipping off when attached to a hand.
